Overview
Building on Hiroshi Ishii's vision for mediating intimate connections via interactive technology, we need to design a unique interactive experience that combines the digital and the physical to enable humans to communicate and feel connected.
Our team co-designed with 7-11-year-old children from UW KidsTeam remotely via Zoom and built Flora, which is an interactive reflection lamp with an accompanying mobile app as a design response to the pandemic-imposed isolation, especially for the families who are geographically distributed.

Stamp Plate 2.0 has two main components, a tablet container, and a utensils container. The tablet will be sealed tightly within the container, serving its function as a dinner plate. And the utensils container keeps the utensils clean and in place when kids want to play with the stamps created after eating.
